Term 1 Update

Last Friday, members of the Friends of the Performing Arts including Leony Carlsson, Melissa Miegel, Lou Rising, Tracey Bryans, Sue Mitchell and Linda Kennedy worked tirelessly organising, sorting and cleaning the Drama Storage Room and Drama Teaching Classroom in the JBC, and Costume Department in Retreat House. Their contribution has made a huge difference, systematically arranging and categorising Drama items and clothing, for ease of locating. Thank you to these wonderful volunteers for giving up their time, we greatly appreciate it.

We are also very grateful to the Friends who have volunteered to work at events this Semester, such as working behind the bar at the Band Bonanza on Wednesday 31 March. We look forward to working with many more of the Friends at upcoming Term 2 Music and Drama events.

If you are interested in being involved, please contact Julie Mullner at or on 8278 0212.

Year 3 students can participate in Speech and Drama classes on Mondays at lunch, and Year 4-6 students can choose between lunch time and after school sessions, with most held in the Junior School Chapel, and the Monday after school session held in the John Bray Centre for Performing Arts on the Secondary Campus.
